VIVA news - effort of Egypt government blockades internet in its country to immobilize communication strip of opposition group, appealing efforts of an international activity group to recover internet connection in the country.


Telecomix internet activity group and Anonymous hacker group are reported to make serious efforts in building again emergency internet infrastructure at Egypt by building internet point access itself and benefitting telephone cable line abroad.

As quoted from Forbes, since Thursday night local time, it is indeed so Egypt blockaded internet access from their four of biggest internet providers (ISO): Link Egypt, Vodafone/ Raya, Telecom Egypt, and Etisalat Misr.

Moreover, not only internet connection, Egypt also blockade SMS service at its country. The case is done by government, because all this time, opposition group benefits social site to do communication and coordination in performing their actions.

Previously, Anonymous hacker is known as hacker team that helps secret leaking site Wikileaks and does attack onto parties what are considered becoming enemy for Wikileaks, such as PaypPal, Visa, or MasterCard.

Before Egypt government blockades internet access, Anonymous also has a sufficient time to target attack Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) onto Egypt government sites, especially communication and information technology ministry of Egypt. (hs)
