Indonesia Traditional Snack as My Favorite Food, Bala-Bala, Gehu, Pisang Goreng

Indonesia has richest creativity, including traditional snacks. They are not common snacks, but have special taste and natural materials. I hear there are French who like Bala-bala. It’s one of Indonesian foods. Let’s see….

1.      Bala-bala

This snack is deliciously oily and salty. We can eat Bala-bala with chili or sambal. Chili, you can see it on the picture above (the red ones). While Sambal, you can see it on the picture below (on the bowl):

Either chili or sambal is surely hot. But they make us satisfied when eating Bala-bala.

2.      Gehu

This snack is similar to Bala-bala. Bala-bala has main material from wheat and cabbage, while Gehu is made from Toge (bean sprouts) and Tahu (tofu).

3.      Pisang Goreng

The last one is fried banana. It is sweet. In fact, you also eat original banana (without frying), but I prefer fried banana.

Have you ever taste them? Don’t leave them, only from Indonesia. J
