Skill dalam bahasa Arab biasanya dibagi ke dalam 4
keterampilan, yaitu:
Keterampilan mendengar
مَهَارَةُ اْلإِسْتِمَاعِ
Keterampilan berbicara
مَهَارَةُ الْكَلَامِ
Keterampilan membaca
مَهَارَةُ الْقِرَاءَةِ
Keterampilan menulis
مَهَارَةُ الْكِتَابَةِ
Adapun dalam bahasa Inggris, keempat keterampilan di atas
dikenal dengan istilah:
Keterampilan mendengar: Listening skill
Keterampilan berbicara: Speaking skill
Keterampilan membaca: Reading skill
Keterampilan menulis: Writing skill
Menurut pengalaman, saya merasa yang paling sulit dalam
bahasa Inggris adalah Listening skill. Sedangkan yang tersulit dalam bahasa
Arab adalah Maharatul Qira`ah (terutama membaca Arab Gundul yang mufradatnya
masih asing).

ReplyDeleteIt's interesting how language skills are categorized similarly across Arabic and English. I also find listening comprehension tough in English! Thinking about skills, it's kind of like playing Block Blast . You need different skills to clear the board, strategizing and reacting quickly, just like navigating language learning. Reading without vowels in Arabic sounds like a real challenge!

I struggle with that too when learning new languages. Which of these four skills do you find gives you the most trouble, and have you found any tricks that actually work?
