Let’s recite: Bismillahirrohmanirrohiim

In Arabic language, noun is ‘ismun’. There are two kinds of nouns: mudzakkar (male) and mu`annats (female). Let’s see each example:

Mudzakkar:
الْمُسْلِمُ
It’s read: almuslimu
The meaning: Muslim man

أُسْتَاذٌ
It’s read: ustadzu
The meaning: teacher man

أَبٌ
It’s read: abun
The meaning: father

Mu`annats
الْمُسْلِمَةُ
It’s read: almuslimatu
The meaning: Muslim woman (Muslimah)

أُسْتَاذَةٌ
It’s read: ustadzatun
The meaning: teacher woman

أُمٌّ
It’s read: ummun
The meaning: mother

Generally, to change from mudzakkar to mu`nnats is by increasing ‘ta marbutoh’:
ة

It’s like in the of word ‘almuslimatu’. Yes, writing form of ‘ta marbutoh’ usually will be changed when it’s combined with other letter, but not always.
