On this Arabic tutorial, I make some sentences by using phrase “my name”.

اِسْمِيْ اَحْمَدُ، اَنَا تِلْمِيْذٌ

هَذَا اَبِيْ، اِسْمُهُ مَحْمُوْدُ، هُوَ مُوَظَفٌ فِى مُئَسَّسَةٍ تِجَارِيَّةٍ

هَذِهِ اُمِّيْ ، اِسْمُهَا زَيْنَبُ، هِيَ مُوَظَفَةٌ فِى فُنْدُقٍ

TRANSLATION (TARJAMAH)

1. My name is Ahmad. I am a student.

2. This is my father. His name is Mahmud.

He is an employee in a company.

3. This is my mother. Her name is Zainab.

She is an employee in a hotel.

VOCABULARY (MUFRADAT)

اِسْمِيْ: my name

اَنَا: I

تِلْمِيْذٌ: student (male)

هَذَا: this (male)

اَبِيْ: my father

اِسْمُهُ: his name

هُوَ: he

مُوَظَفٌ: employee (male)

فِى: in

مُئَسَّسَةٍ تِجَارِيَّةٍ: company

هَذِهِ: this (female)

اُمِّيْ: my mother

اِسْمُهَا: her name

هِيَ: she

مُوَظَفَةٌ: employee (female)

فُنْدُقٍ: hotel
