Users of Electronic Residency Card (e-KTP) in Indonesia are Doubt

Today, Indonesia is implementing e-KTP (Residency Electronic Card). Government hopes it will be finished till 2014. Why? Because budget for it are only provided until 2014.


But, now some Indonesian people who had e-KTP are doubt because e-KTP is forbidden to copy. It is issued will damage chip of it. Although some experts of Information Technology disagree with the decision, but it is unchanged.

Government suggests that people can copy it enough once, then saving it as a master. If they need for some necessaries, then they can copy the master.
