Learning Arabic What is That

Hello Katabah!

On this tutorial, I make some sentences in Arabic to express “What is that?”

مَا ذَالِكَ؟ ذَالِكَ بَقَرٌ

مَا تِلْكَ؟ تِلْكَ دُجَاجَةٌ

مَا ذَالِكَ، يَا اَخِىْ؟

مَا تِلْكَ، يَا اَخِىْ؟

مَا ذَالِكَ، يَا صَدِيْقِىْ؟ ذَالِكَ غَنَمٌ

TRANSLATION (TARJAMAH)

1. What is that? That is a cow.

2. What is that? That is a chicken.

3. What is that, my brother?

4. What is that, my sister?

5. What is that? That is a goat.

VOCABULARY (MUFRADAT)

مَا ذَالِكَ: what is that? (male)

مَا تِلْكَ: what is that? (female)

مَا: what

ذَالِكَ: that (male)

تِلْكَ: that (female)

اَخِىْ: my brother

صَدِيْقِىْ: my friend

غَنَمٌ: goat
