If we remember English, we will remember about four skills of English. Those are listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It is so in Arabic language. Even so, difficulties of them are relatively different.
In English learning, many people feel difficult to have good listening and speaking skill (We know English has difference between letters and pronunciation). While in Arabic learning, they feel difficult to have good reading (We know term “bald Arabic letters”). How about writing? I think in two of the languages will be found each difficulties and ease. As we know, writing is highest level skill.
What are the terms of Arabic skills?
1. Listening skill
مَهَارَةُ اْلإِسْتِمَاعِ
2. Speaking skill
مَهَارَةُ الْكَلاَمِ
3. Reading skill
مَهَارَةُ الْقِرَاءَةِ
4. Writing skill
مَهَارَةُ الْكِتَابَةِ
