Hello Katabah!

On this Arabic tutorial, I make some sentences by using word “hal”.

هَلْ اَنْتَ طَالِبٌ؟

هَلْ اُمُّكَ مُدَرِّسَةٌ؟

هَلْ اَبُوْكَ طَبِيْبٌ؟

هَلْ اَخُوْكَ طَبِيْبَةٌ؟ نَعَمْ، اَخِيْ طَبِيْبَةٌ

TRANSLATION (TARJAMAH)

1. Are you a doctor?

2. Is your mother a teacher?

3. Is your father a doctor?

4. Is your brother a doctor? Yes, my brother is a doctor.

VOCABULARY (MUFRADAT)

هَلْ: question word (substitute for do, does, did, is, are, etc.)

اَنْتَ: you (male)

طَالِبٌ: student

اُمُّكَ: your mother

مُدَرِّسَةٌ: teacher

اَبُوْكَ: your father

طَبِيْبٌ: doctor (female)

اَخُوْكَ: your brother

طَبِيْبَةٌ: doctor (female)

نَعَمْ: yes

اَخِيْ: my brother
