Indonesia Raya Coalition Toward Indonesian President Election 2014
Last time, we knew a big coalition “Poros
Tengah”. It’s initiated by Amien Rais. It could support Gus Dur as a president
leaving Megawati as a top vote in Election.
Today, Amien initiates new coalition
again, Koalisi Indonesia Raya. It’s opened for almost all parties, not only
Islamic parties.
Is the coalition identical with Gerakan
Indonesia Raya (Gerindra Party) led by Prabowo? No, the similarity is only occurred
opportunely. But the essence is different, said Amien.
Is such Amien’s idea still interesting
for other parties? Sold out? Or…frozen?

Welcome to Indonesian Legislative Election 2014 Today!
As we know that today (9 April 2014) is legislative election
in Indonesia. It’s also decided as a national holiday.
I say: “Happy nyoblos (elect) for Indonesian people
who want to vote their legislative candidates without money politics!” Hopefully,
this nation elect based on knowledge, not only going with stream.
The challenge for some people is they don’t know track record
of legislative election (Caleg). Not seldom, some of them only vote, though
they don’t know anything about their candidates, either their work or
identity. I get such information from
informal conversation.
Good luck for Indonesia!

Indonesia between Prabowo, Ahok and Jokowi
At least, today Indonesia has three phenomenon figures who are often seen in public forums:
1. Prabowo as a president candidate 2014 from Gerindra party.
2. Ahok as a vice governor of DKI Jakarta.
3. Jokowi as a governor of DKI Jakarta and a president candidate 2014 from PDIP.
Who are they? Why are they phenomenon?
1. Prabowo
I see that he is most ambitious to be a president. Unfortunately, he doesn’t look calm and good manners. He still expresses his military styles as we can see on the picture below:
According to my mind, Indonesia still worry has a president like him, except he can change his ‘military’ style and decreasing his ambition for ‘forming of cadres’ reason.

Anies Baswedan, Where Are You?
We know that Anies Baswedan is one of candidates for Indonesian President 2014 according to Demokrat Party Convention. I think he is bravest to do it because he relatively still doesn’t have enough popularity in this country.
