Shvoong
First time, I know Shvoong as a website that pays writers. Here, we can submit some summaries. It seems very easy to join, moreover it receives articles in Indonesian language. This language is my national language that is often used me almost in every formal or big forum.
But I still worry to be active there because I don’t know ethics of summary writing. In some books, I read that “To cite a book, we must ask letter of citation from the author/publisher.” By this reason, I leave Shvoong, though my account is still active there.
Triond
Although Triond is often said a scam now. Recently, it is relative competitive compared to PublishUs. From over 180 articles, it pays me with same balance with PublishUs pays me for over 500 articles. Of course, it is happened with similar articles category and publishing techniques.
The challenge from Triond is “People say that some of popular articles in Triond will be lost after 6 months.” About this issue, I don’t do some research yet. Really, lie, or improved now?
PublishUs
This site is relatively new one. It has excellent advertisement partners, such as Google Adsense. I like some features and services of this site, such as Author menu and minimal payout only $0.1.
The number of minimal payout will decrease probability for scamming, alright? This step will make sure to beginners that PublishUs really pay them, not waiting long tome to payout.
Author menu can be used to know: Who are popular writers? By this menu, I can learn ways to write articles from senior and popular writers. And also, it will make diligent writers will be exist on first page of the menu. It really motivates me.
Wikinut
Here, I don’t get payout yet, because of just joining recently. But this site gives me friendly writers and moderators. Some senior writers like comment to my articles diligently. Exactly not only comment, they often motivate me to keep writing.
I also ever read that “Wikinut has better traffic than Triond and ExpertsColumn.” But I don’t know the issue has been changed now or not. Probably, we must learn them more carefully to get up-to-date and valid issue.
Hubpages
Hubpages makes me “fall in love”. It offers income from Google Adsense and Amazon. It seems a big and old site. The writers often write long articles and they look professional.
I guess articles there frequently contain over 500 words per article. Besides it, not all of my articles are approved. So, I can not publish articles everyday as I usually do in other websites. I must think and select some articles for Hubpages. It motivates me to writer articles more seriously.
I hope Hubpages will motivate me to be a good writer. Moreover if it gives me good chance to get dollars from my writing work there, then I will be happier. I must strive and steady there.
Blogspot
After realizing that success in Hubpages needs “strive and steady”, Blogspot introduces me more complex thing than Hubpages. Even so, Blogspot gives me larger opportunity to get dollars.
In Blogspot, we can choose: join in monetizing of blog or not? What ads will be joined? How to promote our blog? And so on. I look it is like a Top Level Domain. So, here we can choose ads according to each personalizing. But again and again, Blogspot is like Hubpages. It needs not short time and not simple buffetings. Probably, to get good dollars, we must wait until 6 months or a year. Also, it can be reached, if we do blogging seriously and smartly.
Is Blogspot a paid-to-write? Yes, in this site, we can publish articles about product reviews, such as website, health care tool, sport equipment, and so on. So, we will get payment, if our review is approved by owners’ products.
