In this post, I’m learning to make sentences in Arabic by using word “city”. Let’s begin!

مَدِيْنَةٌ

City

Let’s see some examples below:

اَنَا اَذْهَبُ اِلَى مَدِيْنَةٍ

I go to a city.

اَنَا مِنْ مَدِيْنَةٍ

I am from a city.

نَحْنُ مِنْ مَدِيْنَة بَنْدُنْج

We are from a Bandung city.

هَلْ تَعْرِفُ هَذِهِ الْمَدِيْنَةَ

Do you know this city?

نَعَمْ، اَنَا اَعْرِفُ هَذِهِ الْمَدِيْنَةَ

Yes, I know the city.

Vocabulary (Mufradat):

اَنَا: I

 اَذْهَبُ: I go

 اِلَى: to

 مَدِيْنَةٍ: city

مِنْ: from

نَحْنُ: we

هَلْ: do (question word)

تَعْرِفُ: you know

هَذِهِ: this (female)

الْمَدِيْنَةَ: the city

نَعَمْ: yes

اَعْرِفُ
